One of the biggest turn offs for people who are thinking about creating a website using flash is the fact that search engines have a hard time read the text content within the flash movie, making SEO , indexing and raking, nearly impossible.

The people at Adobe have developed a solution for this:

Flash Search Engine SDK

“The SDK includes an application named ‘swf2html’. Swf2html extracts text and links from a Flash .SWF file, and returns the data to stdout or as an HTML document.”
